The Attitudes of a Godly Woman
1 Peter 3:1-6
1. A godly woman has an attitude of submission toward men in general and her husband in particular for the glory of God.
Submission does not mean giving up independent thought.
Submission does not mean giving up efforts to influence or guide her husband.
Submission does not mean giving in to every demand of her husband.
1.1 Submission involves actions rooted in particular attitudes
1.2 These attitudes are to be directed toward your husband, if married
1.3 These attitudes are to be motivated by a desire to glorify God
2. A godly woman has an attitude toward beauty that draws the approving gaze of God. vv.3-4
What is the beauty she should seek?
Why should she seek this adorning?
This beauty is imperishable.
This beauty is precious in the sight of God.
