Effective Prayer and Repentance
Daniel 9:1-19

1. Effective prayer is fueled by the Word of God (1-2)

2. Effective prayer is a confession about God (3-15)

What can we learn from this prayer? (Uses)

1. There is nothing unkind about having sin clearly identified.

2. Christian repentance owns specific sin and the consequences.

3. Christian repentance longs for God, not just removal of the consequences.

4. Christian repentance sees that God, alone, can reverse the consequences of our sin.
